Consultations Your consultation begins with a phone call to our office. Our Receptionists, Marisa or Lori, will direct your call or gather contact information, and set up a profile to be reviewed by Dr. Cotter. Cosmetic procedure appointments are generally directed to Colleen, our Practice Administrator and Patient Coordinator. Non-Cosmetic (medically necessary) appointments are set up by one of our Receptionists or Crystal at our MedSPA. Sometimes, there are overlaps in cosmetic and non-cosmetic procedures. We help you sort these out and, if necessary, prepare a letter of predetermination for your insurance carrier. Although an in-depth consultation may be set up with Dr. Cotter initially, for those wishing information only or an easier way to begin the consultation process, consultations can be set up with Kim Moon PA-C. Kim is a very experienced physician assistant who has been with Dr. Cotter over 11 years. A full consultation with Dr. Cotter may follow at a separate visit. Either way, our friendly and knowledgeable staff will assist you through the consultation process answering questions and providing information about the procedures as well as post-op care. From our Receptionists and Scheduling Coordinators, to the Medical Assistants and the Physician Assistants, we strive to make your visit pleasant, comfortable and informative. As you leave the office you will have gained the knowledge and information you need to make an informed decision about your surgery or the procedure(s) you desire. |
